Pair of vambraces in high quality vegetable tanned leather, with hand-tooled pattern of Yggdrasil, the world-tree of Norse mythology.
Totally hand-made, linen with suede for extra comfort.
Pair of hand-tooled leather vambraces (also called Armband or Forearm Cannons) representing the cosmic tree Yggdrasil, pillar of the Viking mythology. Their main color is black dyeing and the tree pattern has been left with original leather color. Then a treatment with olive oil was applied, to darken the black dye and give it a glossy finish, while giving a beautiful tan color to the tree pattern.
Hand-tooling is an advanced leather embellishment technique, allowing complex designs to be engraved entirely by hand.
They closes with two straps, are lined with suede and decorated with lacing, which makes these vambraces extremely comfortable to wear, even over long periods of time.
Their size is 20 cm from top to bottom, and the two straps fit on forearms of 24 to 31 cm (upper part) and 19 to 25 cm (lower part, near the wrist).
This is a high quality product, completely handmade, with great attention to detail: the creation of this pair of bracelets requires a whole day of work.
