Vambraces and pouch "Stag's head"

Set composed of a pouch and a pair of vambraces (also called Armbands or Forearm Cannons) in leather, hand-tooled with a deer's head pattern, highlighted by a hazel colored stain and a black precision stain.

Hand-tooling is an advanced leather decoration technique, allowing complex designs to be engraved entirely by hand

The pouch measures 20cm high and 18cm wide, with a depth of 6cm. It attaches to the belt (which can measure up to 5cm wide) using two loops and closes with a golden brass buckle. Made of high quality leather (vegetable tanned) 2 to 3 mm thick, the interior is lined with goat suede for a high-end finish.

The vambraces measure 20 cm from top to bottom, the closure is done by two straps which adapt to forearms of 24 to 31 cm (upper part) and 19 to 25 cm (lower part, near the wrist). Made of high quality leather (vegetable tanned) of 3mm thick, they are lined with suede goatskin and decorated with lacing, which makes these vambraces extremely comfortable to wear, even over long periods.

This set is handmade in my workshop in France, the creation process making each piece unique : The crafting process of this set requires two days of work.
