Celtic Skirt Hike, black and silver gilding

Skirt hike, in high quality leather (vegetable tanned), decorated with embossed Celtic knotworks. highlighted by silver metallic leaf gilding. Made from 2mm thick leather with two silver-colored buckles, this is an original Myrkwood Creations pattern.

The skirt hike is an accessory that attaches to the belt and allows you to raise the ruffles of a skirt or dress, to gain ease, create elegant asymmetry in a suit or even elegantly reveal a petticoat.

Gilding, for its part, is a technique known since antiquity which consists of depositing a special glue called mixtion, in a very precise manner (here on the knotworks) then applying a sheet of very thin metal. This is a delicate technique that enhance art objects, carried out here with gold-colored leaves (on request, at no additional cost) or silver (and not gold or silver leaves).

A skirt lifter is ideal for a medieval festival, ren fair, wedding, LARP or cosplay costume.

This is a product entirely handmade in my workshop in France. The hand-crafted character of the product makes each creation unique.
